Helicopters provide invaluable support to firefighting efforts in Australia. They are extremely versatile with the ability to manage and supress fire quickly and effectively. Osborne Aviation has extensive experience in low level operations, external load work, water bombing, operations in mountainous terrain and remote landings in confined areas. We have worked successfully on fire operations with fire and other government agencies for over 20 years.

Osborne Aviation has multiple aircraft available to help manage fires through:
- Water bombing
- Fire mapping
- Aerial thermal imagery
- Fire crew/equipment insertion
All aircraft are fitted with TracPlus live satellite tracking systems to enable active monitoring on the aircraft and rapid Search-and-Rescue responses. We can provide access to NAFC or other agencies so they can view our aircraft in real time.
