Trefoil Island
Assisting with a solar installation in far north west Tasmania.
March 2019
Trefoil is a small island off the north west tip of Tasmania. The island is Aboriginal land, owned and managed by the Aboriginal Land Council of Tasmania and is also home to estimated 1.5 million shearwaters. Staged from the nearby Woolnorth property, we recently we were involved in flying materials and equipment across to the island as part of new solar power installation. Loads were precision placed on the land by one of our AS350 B3 helicopters, ready for assembly by construction teams.
