Helicopter support for conservation work by Friends of Tasman Island – Wildcare Inc.

Friends of Tasman Island, a branch of Wildcare, in partnership with Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service, undertake conservation work on the remote lighthouse station twice a year to assist in preserving this incredible piece of Tasmanian history and natural beauty.

Osborne Aviation is engaged to take personnel and supplies across to the island. Loads are often a mix of construction materials for the ongoing conservation work and food supplies to keep the volunteers going. We’re always thrilled to fly around this beautiful and dramatic part of the state!
